A new gallery-grade wall is purpose-built just behind the existing sliding partition wall which serves as a boundary at one end of the gallery. RECOVER SPACE pushes into the active studio workspace behind the gallery wall. No imported art object serves as an anchor for the visitor to this space, rather the architecture of the exhibition space itself is emphasized and its wider context (the density of an art college Degree Show) serves as its foil.
